Hello There

Hello There!

Hope everyone's week is going well!  I wanted to share a card today with some of the goodies that I received from sweet Yainea.  I won her blog giveaway and received a fabulous package!  I finally had a few moments to sit down and play, and here's what I came up with:

I wanted to play along with Mama Elephant's current challenge, which is inspired by this sketch:

For the card, I used the Darling Dear paper pad by Studio Calico, which helped inspire the color palette of this card.  I think my favorite part of the card is the doily, which I spritzed with squeezed orange and fresh lime Dylusions Ink Spray.  The sentiment is from Good Times by Mama Elephant and is stamped in a chocolate brown color.  I finished the card with stamped feathers (Smitten by Mama Elephant), orange twine, a button, a pin, and some gold striped washi.

I had a lot of fun making this card.  It's a little different than something I would normally do, but that's what challenges are all about!

I was also inspired by this week's CASE Study, which is based on a card by Teri Anderson.

And by this week's Simon Says Stamp Challenge: Anything Goes.

Thanks so much for stopping by!!
