A Foxy Hello

Well, I thought I would make just one more card for Lawn Fawn's CHA 2014 Catalog Challenge.  There are just a few more hours to join in the fun...so I'll keep this post short!

I used Lawn Fawn's Into the Woods stamp set (fox and sentiment), Critters in the Forest (log), and some Pink Lemonade Lawn Trimmings.  I started by making my background by watercoloring with Wild Honey and Squeezed Lemonade distress inks and then laying some vellum over to mute the color.  I then stamped and colored the images with copic markers and cut them out.  The sentiment is inked in two colors of ink using the rock and roll technique.  After wrapping some twine around the card, I adhered everything to the top panel and was done!  A pretty simple card for me!

Thank you so much for stopping by!  Good luck to everyone who has entered-- there are so many awesome cards submitted that I'm sure it will be a tough decision!

Dashing Through the Snow

Today I have a fun little scene to share with you today.  I've had the idea in my head for a while and, with a little free time today, the card came together pretty quickly.

Rudolph is dashing through the snow with Winter Bunny in tow...lol.  To make this card, I used Let It Snow and Home Sweet Home to set the scene.  After I stamped the background, I added some distress ink to make a night sky.  I then colored, fussy cut, and added the reindeer from Critters in the Snow and Winter Bunny to the scene.  The reindeer's harness is actually just the silver cord from the Silver Sparkle Lawn Trimmings-- I just unwrapped it from the white twine.

Thanks for stopping by!

Lawn Fawn CHA Catalog Contest

Today I have a very sparkly holiday card to share.  It's a small card, measuring just 4x3.

This was a pretty simple card to make-- just required a little planning ahead.  I used some masking on scor-tape with different colors of microfine glitter.  See how sparkly it is:

Once the whole panel was covered with glitter, I did some stamping and coloring.  I then matted the panel on some colored cardstock and that's it!  I like that it's a flat card and will be easy to place in the mail!

I'll be entering this into Lawn Fawn's CHA Catalog Contest.

Thanks for stopping by!
