Happy New Year!
It's been hard coming out of this (last?) year's post-holiday-coma and I haven't felt too much like crafting. But what better way to get going again than with the first Lawnscaping Challenge of the year. We're celebrating our birthday, so the theme is anything birthday.
Since this is my first post of the new year as well, I thought I would start off with a clean and simple card.
I just made some simple stripes by doing some masking and inking with distress inks. I then stamped my sentiment (Sophie's Sentiments) and added some silver sparkle lawn trimmings. I then mounted the entire panel with some foam tape.
Our sponsor this week is Simon Says Stamp, who is generously giving away a $25 gift card to the lucky winner.
Thanks for stopping by!

ReplyDeleteI love this card! The lines of color are coming from opposite directions, giving almost a 3D effect.
ReplyDeleteAwesome card, Lizzy! The colored lines that you created look so neat! I really like how the yellow line comes from the other direction! That makes an awesome birthday card! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea! The subtleness of the color gradient is gorgeous!
