Lawn Fawn October Inspiration Week: Home for the Holidays & Little Town Border

Today is the last day of October Inspiration Week! Today we're featuring a cute mini set called Home of the Holidays and a fun new border die with little houses.

Here's my card with both:

I started by creating a nighttime sky with several blue distress inks. The little town border was cut from black licorice cardstock to create a nighttime silhouette. I then stamped and colored the car with copic markers and added the stamped tree to sit on top of the car. The card was finished with a soft snowy background using the snow builder stamp from Snow Cool and some Yeti white pigment ink.

Lawn Fawn October Inspiration Week: Merry Messages & Plan On It: Holidays

It's Day 6 of Lawn Fawn's Inspiration Week! Today we're showcasing Merry Messages, which includes a bunch of fabulous holiday messages, and Plan On It: Holidays, which adds holiday images to the previously released planner stamps.

Today I have a card featuring both sets:

I started by stamping circles in Lobster and JalapeƱo ink. I then stamped several of the images from Plan On It: Holidays and Merry Messages in Black Licorice ink.

I finished the card with a sentiment from Merry Messages.

Lawn Fawn October Inspiration Week: Perfectly Plaid Winter

Today we're featuring Lawn Fawn's Perfectly Plaid Winter paper collection!

Here's the card I made:

I used several of the dotted rectangle and square dies to create presents from the patterned papers. I also used the smallest bow die from Put A Bow On It to finish off the look.

Lawn Fawn October Inspiration Week: Scripty Words & FaLaLaLaLa Border Dies

Today we're showcasing Lawn Fawn's new holiday word dies. I made a card using the FaLaLaLaLa Border die:

I love that the die stretches across the entirety of the card!

The bird is from Cheery Christmas and the music notes are from the Easter stamp set Chirpy Chirp Chirp.

Lawn Fawn October Inspiration Week: Winter Unicorn & Winter Big Scripty Words

Yippee! It's the start of Lawn Fawn's October Inspiration Week, which means we'll be featuring the remainder of the winter and holiday sets from the most recent release!

First up, I have a card using the Winter Unicorn stamp set:

This mini set is just too cute! I love that the unicorn looks like it's flying through the air! A starburst stamp from Plan On It: Holidays really adds to the effect!

My next card uses Winter Big Scripty Words:

I created a chalkboard effect by heat embossing my sentiment in white and adding some Yeti white pigment ink around the edges.

Happy Howloween + Video

It's finally October, which means Halloween is just around the corner! I'm over at the Lawn Fawn blog today sharing a fun Halloween card and video tutorial using the Happy Howloween stamp set.

In the video tutorial, I explain how to make this colorful background using Gansai Tambi paints. You can view the video below or over the Lawn Fawn YouTube Channel. You'll have to excuse Audie, one of my Siamese cats, for all the background noise! He loves to talk and I think he may have been yelling at me to open the door to my craft room-- I close the door when I do the voiceover for that specific reason! I didn't even realize all his chatter was recorded... whoops! Hope it's not too distracting!

Anyways, hope you enjoy!
