Lawn Fawn Fall & Winter Inspiration and Release Week

Today is Day 2 of Inspiration and Release Week! We're showcasing a clever, interactive die called Double Slider Surprise.

Here is my project:

To decorate the front of the card, I used a new coffee themed set called Thanks a Latte and a new paper collection called Really Rainbow Christmas.

By pulling the tab, two panels are revealed that slide out from the center panel. Clever, right?? It's also is a great way to surprise your recipient with a gift card, which is what I did:

Lawn Fawn Fall/Winter 2018 Inspiration & Release Week

Today is the first day of Lawn Fawn's Fall & Winter Inspiration and Release Week! Today we're featuring several new Fall/Halloween-themed products including Pick of the Patch, which features adorable Halloween pumpkins, the Reveal Wheel Pick of the Patch Add-On dies, which allow you to create a rotating pumpkin using the previously released Reveal Wheel die mechanism, and the Spooky Fence Border die!

Here is my card using all three products:

The background is created using seedless preserves, wilted violet, faded jeans, and black soot distress oxide inks. I also used some green patterned paper from the soon-to-be released Knit Picky Fall patterned paper pack.

The Reveal Wheel Pick of the Patch Add-on dies allow you to rotate faces on the pumpkin:

Lawn Fawn March Inspiration Week

Today we're featuring Gotta Have Gingham, which is one of the new patterned paper collections. The papers come in 12x12 sheets and 6x6 paper packs.

I used the patterned paper as a background for the card. The background sentiment and focal sentiment are from Simply Sentiments, which we featured yesterday.

Lawn Fawn March Inspiration Week

Today we're sharing 2 new stamp sets: Simply Celebrate and Simply Sentiments. Simply Celebrate includes 6 border images, which are great for a variety of card themes and Simply Sentiments includes a ton of cheerful sentiments.

My card features both stamp sets:

My favorite border from Simply Celebrate has to be this flower border. I love that the die cuts out nearly the entirely of each individual flower.

In the background, I layered some Sticky Note paper behind the new Quilted Backdrop die. The front panel is die cut from Really Rainbow 6x6 paper pack and the sentiment is from Simply Sentiments.

Lawn Fawn March Inspiration Week

It's Day 3 of March Inspiration Week and today we're showcasing a new stamp set called Happy Village. It includes a bunch of house images as well as images to set a village scene.

I created a simple "We've Moved" card. The background is patterned paper from the Really Rainbow 6x6 paper pack. I finished the card with some black pen lines around the outside of the card as well as some black paint splatters.

Lawn Fawn March Inspiration Week

It's Lawn Fawn's March Inspiration Week! On Day 1 we featured Beam Me Up, which is an adorable alien-themed stamp and die set. Day 2 features a new die called Peak-A-Boo backdrop, which creates a comic style background.

Here's the card I made for Day 1:

For the background, I used the starry backdrop die to create a stencil and applied silver Nuvo glimmer paste. I also flicked some gold paint to create the appearance of even more stars.

For Day 2, I created this bright and happy card:

I love the Peak-A-Boo backdrop die-- it breaks of the space to showcase multiple things (like each individual speech bubble). The background paper is from the 6x6 Really Rainbow petite paper pack and is an absolute must-have. The speech bubbles were cut from Cilantro, Fake Tan, and Raspberry cardstock.

Lawn Fawn February Inspiration & Release Week

Today I'm using an adorable bunny-themed stamp set called Some Bunny as well as a new die called Stitched Garden Border.

How adorable are these bunnies? The set includes the 3 bunny images as well as everything you need to set a garden scene.

The Stitched Garden Border creates the small hills that can be used to place vegetables or other plants behind.

Lawn Fawn February Inspiration & Release Week: Day 3

Today we're showcasing 2 new dies: Scalloped Treat Box Spring House Add-On and the Tiny Gift Box Bunny Add-On. Both dies extend the life of the previously released Scalloped Treat Box and the Tiny Gift Box.

I made a card using the Scalloped Treat Box Spring House Add-On:

Lawn Fawn February Inspiration & Release Week: Day 2

Today we're showcasing a fun, interactive die called Pivot Pop Up. The die creates a mechanism that allows for a pop up panel from the inside of the card.

I used the Rub-a-dub-dub stamp set and some patterned paper from Gotta Have Gingham to create the card.

The inside features a cheerful message for a new baby:

Lawn Fawn February Inspiration & Release Week: Day 1

Happy Release Week! We'll be featuring many of the new Lawn Fawn products from the Spring/Summer release this coming week!

Today we're showcasing a new stamp set called Rubadubdub and the new Quilted Backdrop background die.

My card utilizes both products:

This stamp set might be one of my favorites from the release. It has lots of cute images including some adorable ducks and lots of images to create a bathtub scene.

I used the Quilted Backdrop die as "tile" floor for the scene. The die is really beautiful and I especially love the small holes that allow the background color to peak through.

Modern Christmas Card + Video

Hey!

I'm over at the Lawn Fawn blog today sharing a simple, modern Christmas card.

I used a pink, turquoise, and black/white color scheme, which I think adds to the modern feel.

Lawn Fawn October Inspiration Week

It's the last day of Lawn Fawn's October Inspiration Week!

For our last day, we're featuring Plan On It: Fitness, which is a great addition to the planner stamp sets previously released and the new embossing powders.

I had a lot of fun making this card! Stamping with colorful inks is one of my favorite things about card making! I used ballet slippers, moonstone, minty fresh, butter, merman, fresh lavender, manatee, celery stick, carrot, and black licorice inks to make this card.

After stamping all the colorful circles, I stamped several of the images from Plan On It: Fitness. The sentiment, which is also from the stamp set, is stamped with Versamark ink and heat embossed with Lawn Fawn's white embossing powder.

Thanks for joining me this week!

Lawn Fawn October Inspiration Week

Today we are showcasing Sealed with a Kiss and the Stitched Scalloped Stackable dies.
I have a card using Sealed with a Kiss and one of the circle Stitched Scalloped Stackable dies:

Sealed with a Kiss is a mini stamp set, which includes these two adorable seals.

I layered some Perfectly Plaid Chill patterned paper behind the Scalloped Stitched Stackable circle die and added a sentiment from Forest Feast.

Lawn Fawn October Inspiration Week

Today we're showcasing one of the new patterned paper collections: Perfectly Plaid Chill.

This paper collection is perfect for fall or winter, but it could definitely be used all year round.

I used the Stitched Hillside Backdrop: Landscape die to create this card. The papers are great for adding some fun "texture" to an otherwise simple card.

Lawn Fawn October Inspiration Week

Today we're featuring a new landscape die: Stitched Hillside Backdrop.

For this card, I used the Portrait style die. It includes several additional dies including a house, several sizes of trees, and a cute "love" smoke die.

I added some extra details to the house and trees using Diamond Stickles, which I think add to the whimsy of this non-traditional colored card.
