LF Spring 2017 Inspiration & Release Week

It's the last day of February Inspiration Week, which means all the new products will be available tomorrow! There will also be a BIG giveaway post over at the Lawn Fawn blog tomorrow, so be sure to head on over to enter for a chance to win some new products!

For our last day, we're featuring How You Bean?, it's coordinating dies, and the shaker add-on. We're also showcasing the new inks, ink cubes (!), and cardstock.

My card uses How You Bean?, the shaker add-on dies, and several colors of new ink (Bubblegum, Moonstone, Grape Soda, Minty Fresh).

I started by creating a background for the little mason jar. I used Bubblegum ink to create some watercolor stripes across the back of the card. I then used some Watercolor Wishes paper to create a ground of the jar. The pretty edge is from the lacy border die, which was released for Valentine's Day.

I then used the shaker add-on dies to create a shaker card. I inked of several pieces of scrap white cardstock with the new ink colors and die cut a bunch of stars using one of the dies included in the set. I then assembled the jar, adhered it to the card, and stamped my sentiment.

Thanks so much for stopping by! I had such a fun time playing with this release! You are going to love it!

LF Spring 2017 Inspiration & Release Week

Today we're showcasing the new Fancy Box die. This die creates a small box, which is perfectly sized for a gift card or other small gift.

I die cut the box from some white linen cardstock and then decorated it with some images from Fab Flowers. I also used several of the new ink colors - ballet slippers, minty fresh, grape soda - to stamp out the images. The die cut "thanks" and tiny hearts are also included in the die set.

LF Spring 2017 Inspiration & Release Week

Today we're featuring the super fun Slide On Over Circle dies and the Perfectly Plaid Rainbow patterned papers.

My card features the Slide On Over Circle dies:

This card was so fun to make! I started by creating a galaxy background with several colors of distress ink. Once the panel was finished, I flicked some pearly white watercolor on the panel to create the look of stars.

While the background dried, I stamped, colored, and die cut the images from Out of This World. I then white heat embossed my sentiment. The last part of the card was to die cut the circle slider and adhere everything down. Be sure to check out Kelly Marie's video tutorial on how to create these cards.

LF Spring 2017 Inspiration & Release Week

Today we're showcasing the Out of This World stamp and coordinating die set and the Starry Skies die! Out of This World is a fabulous space-themed stamp set and the Starry Skies die is a great die to help build a scene.

Here's the card I made using both products:

I decided to make a simple card using just the rocket image in the stamp set.

The starry background is created using the new die.

LF Spring 2017 Inspiration & Release Week

Today we're featuring the Hoppy Easter stamp and die set and the Happy Hatchlings die set. I made a card using Happy Hatchlings:

This die set is super adorable. It includes several eggs and, of course, the little chick. I started by die cutting some fun foam and then stamped a background using the new Peachy Keen and Minty Fresh inks. I then die cut the rest of the card and assembled - super simple!

LF Spring 2017 Inspiration & Release Week

It's Day 2 of Inspiration and Release Week! Today we're featuring the incredibly clever Scalloped Box Card Pop-Up die.

Here's my box card:

How cool is this die?! The box folds flat for easy mailing. Then, when the recipient opens the card, out pops the inside of the card! This die is so cool and super easy to assemble!

I used the new Meow You Doin' stamp and die set to create this card. I can think of quite a few people who would love this kitty-filled surprise ;)

Lawn Fawn Spring 2017 Inspiration and Release Week: Elphie Selfie

Woohoo! Today is the first day of Lawn Fawn's Spring 2017 Inspiration Week! All the new stamps, dies, ink, cardstock, and patterned paper will be available next week!

Today we're showcasing the sweet stamp and die set called Elphie Selfie. It's full of adorable elephants and fun accessories.

Here's the card that I made:

I started by creating a patterned paper background using some of the filler-images in the stamp set. I used minty fresh and carrot ink. I then white heat embossed the elephants on some Storm Cloud and Narwhal cardstock. The flowers and balloon were white heat embossed on the new raspberry cardstock.

The background for the elephants was created with the new zig zag circle dies with some vellum.

I also created a card using Elphie Selfie during last month's CHA sneak week:

This set is great for creating fun, playful scenes.
