LF & Xyron Collaboration Week

Hi Everyone!

This week the Lawn Fawn Design Team had the opportunity to play with some awesome adhesive products from Xyron!

I used the Xyron tape runner to adhere my card together. I really like the dot adhesive and the strong hold it provides. I had gotten away from tape runner after moving to Hawaii since the adhesive would never stick well in the heat and humidity. So far, I've been very pleased with the Xyron adhesive.

Here's the card that I created:

I used Fab Flowers and Happy Happy Happy to create this card. I started by inking the stamps in Yeti pigment ink and then re-stamping with colored pigment ink. I then added some additional details to the images using my Prisma colored pencils. I finished the card by stamping the sentiment with Versamark ink and white heat embossing.

Lawn Fawn March Inspiration Week: Day 6

Today we're featuring Bicycle Built for You, the Road Border dies, and the Little Picket Fence Border die! These products coordinate perfectly to create such adorable scenes!

Here's my card:

I kept it pretty simple with this one. I just colored and die cut out my images and die cut the road and fence dies from some colored cardstock. I added a little color at the bottom of the card using a piece of Perfectly Plaid Rainbow patterned paper.

Lawn Fawn March Inspiration Week: Day 5

Today we're showcasing Watercolor Wishes, which is one of the new patterned paper collections. The papers provide the look of watercolor, but without the mess! I just love them!

Here is the card that I created:

To showcase all of the colors, I cut small strips of each patterned paper and then adhered them to some typing paper. I then used one of the Zig Zag Circle dies to die cut the center. The sentiment is from the new Happy Happy Happy stamp and coordinating dies and the stars are from the new Starry Skies die.

Lawn Fawn March Inspiration Week: Day 4

Today we're featuring Hang In There, which is a totally adorable sloth themed stamp set, and the simple grassy hillside die.

Here is my card featuring the adorable sloth:

Ah, don't you just love him? He's so cute! I kept it simple with this card. I just stamped and colored him in using copic markers and foam mounted him on an inked card panel. I finished the card by using a white gel pen to create some additional details on the images.

Lawn Fawn March Inspiration Week: Day 3

Today we're showcasing Fab Flowers and the Fancy Folded Banner dies.

My card features Fab Flowers and a banner from Bannertastic, which was featured yesterday.

I love flower sets, and this one is especially fun because it's a stamp layering set. My favorite thing about this hobby is the actual stamping, so this kind of set is definitely a must-have for me!

Lawn Fawn March Inspiration Week: Day 2

Today is Day 2 of Lawn Fawn's March Inspiration Week! We're featuring the awesome new sentiment set, Happy Happy Happy, as well as a great banner set called Bannertastic, and the Scripty Happy die-- basically lot of fabulous new things to make perfect sentiments!

For my card today, I focused on using Happy Happy Happy.

I used the Perfectly Plaid Rainbow patterned paper as my inspiration for the color palette. I arranged the words in my Misti stamping tool and selectively inked up each word with a different color of Lawn Fawn ink-- guava, carrot, sunflower, freshly cut grass, and merman ink.

Since the sentiment was arranged in my Misti, I was able to easily make several cards using this simple design.

Lawn Fawn March Inspiration Week

Today is the first day of Lawn Fawn's March Inspiration Week! Today we're featuring Meow You Doin' stamp and coordinating die set and the Wonderful Window die.

Here is the card I made using the Wonderful Window die:

To create this cute scene, I also used Bicycle Built for You, which is a set that we'll feature later this week.

Here's my Meow You Doin' card, which I had posted during Sneak Week:

I just love the adorable kitties :) To color the kitty like a chocolate point Siamese cat, I used the following copic markers: E40, E42, E42, E55, E57.

Lawn Fawn & ScraPerfect

Today is the last day of Lawn Fawn's collaboration week with ScraPerfect! I made an Easter Card using Lawn Fawn's Hoppy Easter stamp set and several ScraPerfect products:

I started by stamping, coloring, and die cutting the sweet images from Hoppy Easter. I then die cut a Fancy Scalloped Circle from some pink Watercolor Wishes paper. I also die cut the ground with a stitched border die from kraft cardstock and the fence from some white cardstock. I used ScraPerfect Best Glue Ever to adhere everything down. I also used the large No-Clog writing cap on the glue. You can see the writing cap allows for the fine application of glue:

I also used the ScraPerfect Embellie Gellie to help pick up the tiny die cuts so that I could adhere them to the card. I really liked that it was just the "right amount" of sticky to pick up the pieces but still allow for easy adhering to the card.

I really enjoyed using these products. You can find out more information about these products on the ScraPerfect website

And be sure to check out the Lawn Fawn blog for more inspiration :)
