I've been looking forward to sharing today's card. It's another thank you card and the recipients were my sweet parents who had been babysitting my very mischievous kitties since May. Due to a few bumps in the road, we had to delay bringing the cats to Hawaii. But, I'll spare you the long story about our early trials and simply report that they have arrived safely! So, a BIG thank you to my very patient parents!
Hehe. This stamp totally makes me giggle because it's so perfect. It's called Krafty Kat-astrophe from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps. The best thing about this hobby is you can really make the perfect card for someone. My kitty babies are into everything and watching them (for months, no less) is no easy feat! Here's proof:
|
"Helping" to organize distress paints. |
And I'm not sure who's happiest... my parents to have a Bear-and-Audie-free house, me to have my babies back, or Bear and Aud to be in sunny Hawaii....

Snoozing together |
|
Keepin' an eye out together |
|
Watching the birds together.

So enough about the kitties and back to the card: I stamped and colored the image with copics. I then cut some strips of patterned paper from Lawn Fawn's Into the Woods 6x6 paper pad to add a little extra color. I then stamped the sentiment in black (again, so perfect) and mounted the cardstock panel on a teal card base.
And if you want more pictures of my silly kitties and anything else going on around here, you can now follow me on Instagram :)
Thank you for stopping by!

A beautifully coloured sweet, fun image - what a familiar scene - from hoovering fur balls from my keyboard to searching things that have 'disappeared' - all good fun!!!

ReplyDeleteYour card made me smile because, I am a fellow card maker and cat owner. And this scene is all too typical of a day in my craft room.
