Happy November!
Where is the year going? *Sigh*...
Since it's the beginning of the month again, it's time for another Lawnscaping Challenge. The theme this week is to make your sentiment a stand out!
Since we're in the month of Thanksgiving, I thought it would be the perfect time to make a card expressing thanks.
One easy way to make your sentiment stand out is to take one important word and jazz it up. I took the sentiment from Lawn Fawn's So Thankful set and die cut the main word from cork paper using Quinn's ABC dies. The remainder of the sentiment was selectively inked and stamped. For a little decoration, I stamped the tree from Into the Woods and colored and cut out the pumpkins from So Thankful. To make the pumpkin vines, I used some bakers twine that was coated with glossy accents and wrapped around a stick. This allows the twine to keep it's shape. Lastly, I used the heart dies to add a little extra emphasis to the sentiment. The hearts were colored with the same colors of copics as the pumpkins and then coated with glossy accents.
The main panel was mounted on patterned paper from the Into the Woods 6x6 pad.
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you feel inspired to play along with us this week! We're sponsored by Simon Says Stamp, who will be giving the lucky winner a $25 gift certificate to the store!
