Happy Halloween! Life is a little crazy, so my blog posts have been a little belated! You probably saw this card over at the Lawn Fawn blog a few weeks ago, but, nonetheless, wanted to share it today for Halloween!
I have been having lots of fun with the Lawn Fawn inks. I just love the ink formula that they used -- the ink stamps crisply and it's also great for blending. On this card, I used a combination of Lobster (red ink) and Fake Tan (orange ink) to create an orangey-red color. I just used some post-it note tape to make a nice, crisp edge.
The rest of the card is pretty simple. I heat-embossed my sentiment with some black embossing powder. I used Owen's ABC's (love, love, love this set!). I then made some stripes using one of the images from Belinda's Borders with some Black Licorice ink.
I finished off the card with a few wood veneer stars :) Easy! Thanks for stopping by! -Lizzy
Today I'm over at the Lawn Fawn blog sharing a card using one of my favorite images from the last Lawn Fawn release...the lucky cat :)
As you can see, I used several of the Lawn Fawn inks to create a gradient of color through a Hero Arts stencil. I also used a Flirty Frames stamp to highlight my sentiment and a few star wood veneers to finish off the card.
