Aloha Card + Video

I'm over at the Lawn Fawn blog today sharing a colorful, summery card using several of the new Summer Release products.

I used the mini set called Aloha, the palm tree dies, and the Scripty Aloha die to create this card.

Lawn Fawn + Chibitronics

The Lawn Fawn Team has teamed up with Chibitronics this week to showcase some fun, interactive cards.

Here's the card that I made:

I thought it would be fun to make a light-up card using the new Plane and Simple stamp set from Lawn Fawn. I used the Chibitronics Starter Kit and one of the Effects Stickers to create the light on the front of the plane.

I used the "Fade" Effects Sticker, which makes the light fade from dim to bright:

How fun is that?

I had such a fun time putting this card together!

Lawn Fawn Summer Release Week: Stitched Cloud Backdrop & Ocean Wave Accents

It's the last day of release week! I hope you enjoyed seeing all the new products, which will be available tomorrow!

For my last project, I used the Stitched Cloud Backdrop and Ocean Wave Accents to create a fun ocean scene:

I also used the shark and sentiments from Duh-nuh and the ship from Ahoy, Matey, which were both featured earlier this week. I just love how Lawn Fawn stamps pair so easily with each other!

I also used the waves from the Ocean Hillside Pop-up Add-On die and some Watercolor Wishes patterned paper.

Lawn Fawn Summer Release Week: Wild for You, Selfie Frames + Say, Cheese Again

Today we're sharing an adorable critter set called Wild for You. It has a ton of cute critters that, when paired, with the Selfie Frame dies, create the look of critters taking selfies! Lol!

I stamped several of the critters, colored them with copic markers, and placed them in the polaroid die from Selfie Frames. The sentiments are all from Wild for You.

Lawn Fawn Summer Release Week: Palm Trees

Today I have a card using the new Palm Tree dies. I also used the new Say Cheese, Again die, which will will feature tomorrow and the new Plan On It: Vacation, which will be featured next month.

I thought it would be nice to create a sunset scene using distress oxide inks.

I then die cut the palm tree dies and a little hill from some black cardstock. The background was then stamped with several images from Plan On It: Vacation with Versamark ink.

Lawn Fawn Summer Release Week: You're Claw-some

Today we're featuring a really cool set called You're Claw-some. It's perfect for all you arcade-lovers out there!

I love that the claw machine is full of little bears! I kept this card pretty simple- just stamped, colored, and die cut the images and adhered them to some stripped patterned paper. To go with the sentiment that I chose for the card, I decided to stamp one of the little bears and color him as a panda.

This would also be a great set to create a slider card. Be sure to check out Kelly Marie's video tutorial on how to do that!

Lawn Fawn Summer Release Week: Upon A Star

Today we're showcasing Upon A Star, which is probably one of my favorite stamp sets from this release! It includes several critters gazing upwards and a bunch of star and constellation stamps.

I started by creating a background using several colors of distress oxide ink: fossilized amber, cracked pistachio, faded jeans, and wilted violet. I then spritzed it with water to help the colors blend and create the illusion of stars. I also spattered some pearly white paint to give the panel some extra sparkle.

I then stamped, colored, and die cut the images from the stamp set. I also heat embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder.
