Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week: Thanks a Bushel & Cutie Pie

It's Day 5 of Lawn Fawn's August Inspiration Week! Today we're featuring two adorable fall-themed stamp sets.

First up is my card featuring Thanks a Bushel:

The apples in this set are so fun the color! The basket is "colored" with cork ribbon that I stamped on and fussy cut. The sweet critter is from Cheery Christmas, which will be available with this release.

Next up, I have a sweet card featuring the mini set Cutie Pie:

I kept this one pretty simple-- just some patterned paper from Perfectly Plaid Fall and some brown sparkle hearts to jazz up the card.

It's Day 4 of Inspiration Week! Only a few more days before everything is available in stores!  Today we're featuring the Perfectly Plaid Fall collection and new ink and cardstock colors called Narwhal and Storm Cloud.

For my project, I created a gift card holder using the new envelop die with some Iced Latte patterned paper. The sentiment is from the same die set, which I cut out of Storm Cloud cardstock.

I finished off this very simple design with a bow cut from some cork ribbon.

Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week: Scalloped Treat Box & Put A Bow On It

Today is Day 3 of Lawn Fawn's August Inspiration Week! Today we're featuring the new Scalloped Treat Box and Put A Bow on It dies!

For my first project, I'm still feeling like it's summer so I created a watermelon themed box used some Guava cardstock and green stripped patterned paper from Let's Polka in the Meadow 6x6 paper pack.

Can you guess where I found those "seeds"?

Doesn't the inside of the "H" in wishes look like a seed? Sometimes it's good to save those extra pieces! I finished the box off with one of the new Tiny Tags die and sentiment from the coordinating stamp set.

My next project features the Put a Bow on It die set, which includes 3 sizes of bows. I used the smallest size to make these holiday place cards.

Helpful Hint: tweezers are the perfect tool to help hold everything together while the liquid glue dries!

Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week: Happy Howloween & Stitched Tree Borders

It's day 2 of Inspiration Week and today we're featuring Happy Howloween + coordinating dies and the Stitched Tree Borders die.

Happy Howoween includes several adorable pups with fun halloween costumes. I chose to dress up the dog as a mummy and thought it would be nice to create a background similar to the mummy wrap. I used Juice Box, Narwhal, and Carrot ink with some masking to create the background. The stars were cut with the coordinating die set with licorice back cardstock.

For my next project, I thought I'd use just the wonky tree die from the Stitched Tree Borders die set to create a colorful background:

I used a bunch of inks (Plastic Flamingo, Carrot, Sunflower, Jalapeño, Peacock, Juice Box) to color several of the die cuts. After arranging the circles, I used the small triangle stamp in the new Plan On It: Holidays stamp set to finish off the pattern. The sentiment was created with the new Scripty Wishes die, which was placed on a banner die to anchor the sentiment. I completed the card with a heavy dowsing of clear Wink of Stella. Look at the shine:

Hello Stranger!

Howdy strangers!

It's been a while! Life just seemed to get in the way for a bit, and, before I knew it, it had been quite some time since I last posted!

Well, my hiatus is over because I have some very exciting news to share: I'll be joining the Lawn Fawn Design Team :) I've been contributing to the LF blog for a while with regular video tutorials, so I'm excited to now have even more reasons to create with their wonderful and whimsical products! I originally started this blog in order to share my Lawn Fawn creations, so it's pretty exciting to officially join their very talented team :) Big thanks and hugs to Kelly for this opportunity!

I hope you'll follow along here with me!

Thanks so much for visiting today :)
